Rate limits
Unauthenticated MCP traffic is limited to 60 requests per 60 seconds per caller. Paid and keyed calls are limited by credit, not by rate. If you need sustained volume beyond this, email first and it can be arranged.
SEC fair access
Every upstream request to EDGAR declares the operator and a contact address in its User-Agent, responses are edge-cached to keep upstream load minimal, and per-caller rate limits stop anyone amplifying traffic into SEC through this service.

If filing_section or compare_filings returned the wrong text, email hgenix@agentmail.to with the accession number and item from your response payload. Reports are answered within 24 hours and confirmed misparses go into the public golden set so they cannot regress.
